Margolias Realty Group has bought The Athlete’s Foot’s 162,651-square-foot world headquarters in Kennesaw for $5 million from TAF Real Estate.
The deal was brokered by Vice Presidents Peter Greyling and Ernie Baker of Richard Bowers & Co. The property set on 15.47 acres at 1950 Vaughn Road
The Athlete’s Foot will enter a two-year lease on half of the building’s office space, which currently holds the company’s administrative offices and showrooms. They will also enter into a six- to twelve-month lease on the warehouse. Margolias President Sol Margolias, said he is optimistic about having the building 100 percent leased in 18-24 months.
Built in 1992, the building is comprised of 46,489 square feet of office space and 116,162 square feet of warehouse. It was offered first in 2002 and remained on the market for more than two years.
